Overview
Al Shobak is famed for the impressive Shobak Castle, also known as Mont Real, constructed by King Baldwin in 1115. This fortress endured battles until its defeat in 1189 by Salahuddin Al-Ayyoubi. Perched on a hill in the desert, the castle boasts a secret passageway, Christian carvings, and Islamic tablets. Our journey concludes at Little Petra, Al Beidha, located just 9 kilometers from the Petra UNESCO site entry in Wadi Musa. While less visited than Petra, Little Petra offers a serene and beautiful atmosphere, inviting exploration
